Correspondence Course in Earth Medicine

Animal Dreaming is proud to offer its ten instalment correspondence course in Earth Studies. The course is broken up into ten main topics which can be studied in instalments month by month, or at your own pace.

Topic 1:
The Healing Powers and Spiritual Properties of Crystals and Gems.

Cleansing crystals, charging crystals, example meditation with Amethyst crystal, dream work with howlite and smokey quartz, developing elixirs and tonics, reading the vibrations of the stones, and crystal identification, spiritual properties of crystals and crystal correspondences.

Topic 2:
Working with the Chakra System and one's Auric Field.

Background information on the aura, seeing auras, cleansing auras, smudging one's aura, fluffing / combing and patting the aura, detecting holes and damage to the aura, color correspondences, auras and the parts of the body, auras and their correspondence with the chakra system. Spiritual history of the chakra system, identifying the chakra centres, significance of the chakra system and their relation to the body, colors of the chakras, location, balancing and centering the chakras, cleansing the chakras, chakra meditation, and crystal work with the chakras.

Topic 3:
Divination Techniques and Trusting your intuition.

Simple telepathy exercises, meditation on the inner voice, rune stones and their interpretation, photo reading, basic tarot, tea leaf reading, wax and water divination, basic psychometry exercises, pendulums as a divination tool and further aura color identification and interpretation.

Introduction to Bach Flower Remedies, creating your own flower essences, Speaking to the Plant and Tree Spirits, attracting the tree and flower spirits to your garden, carving a tree spirit, Celtic tree astrology signs, Magikal and Medicinal Herbs, Medicine Walk to collect herbs, Spiritual Significance of the Trees and Flowers, Meditation to meet the Tree and Flower Spirits, Common Faerie Names.

Topic 6:
Following signs in Nature (incorporating a Medicine Walk)

Animals as omens, identifying poisonous plants, recognising and interpreting the presence of animals, medicine walk, interpreting symbols in nature, determining a healthy environment, introduced animals, survival in the bush, reading the clouds, divination using fire, very basic introduction to Astrology, glossary of nature based divination techniques.

Topic 7:
Working with the Wheel of Life

Creating your own full size Wheel of Life, creating a dinner plate Wheel of Life with crystals and stones, attuning with the elements and directional energies, identifying the stone positions and their corresponding mineral, plant and animal totems, drying the herbs, creating a totem shield, walking the wheel to find your position, honouring and cleansing the wheel, partaking in a medicine wheel meditation, creating a 'four winds shield'.
