I just rediscovered my first signed copy of the first release of Animal Dreaming – and realised I met Scott in 2006 and got that original, self-published title signed by him when he was in Perth.  Our Animal Dreaming relationship has just gone from strength to strength since then.

My first Certified Animal Dreaming workshop was the Perth Zoo workshop in Feb 2007.  Since then I have done pretty much every workshop Scott has brought to WA - drums, Dreamcatchers, Zoo Walks, Oracle Cards and Essences, and attended the Certified courses in SeaWorld in 2009 and 2010.  I have been the Animal Dreaming State Rep in WA since the inception of Scott appointing State Reps after SeaWorld 2009, and have been extremely honoured to have been appointed this role.

As part of my role as WA State Rep, I provide support to fellow Animal Dreaming Practitioners, whatever element of Animal Dreaming they are Practitioners in.  Once a month I facilitate Practitioner Caring and Sharing events.  These are open to practitioners of all modalities, to offer and receive treatments from other practitioners, and to share information about themselves.  Animal Dreaming has Western Australian practitioners in Animal Dreaming essences, oracle cards, and Animal Dreaming practices.

In 2010 I presented Sunwalker and Animal Dreaming at the Perth Conscious Living Expo, and was grateful for the support of fellow Animal Dreaming Practitioners in manning the stall and answering lots and lots of questions from interested folk.  We are likely to be present again at the 2012 Expo, and possibly at some smaller events throughout the year.  Any events we attend will always be well advertised on the Sunwalker Dreaming facebook page, and the website when completed.

I regularly facilitate meditation and journey groups, and present workshops about all sorts of wondrous topics.  There will be Perth Zoo walks, Power Animal Journeys and other Animal Dreaming events regularly presented throughout the year.

For International Animal Dreaming Day 2010, the Perth Dreamers went on a zoo walk.  Pics from that great day are on the Sunwalker Dreaming Facebook page.  For IADD 2011, we journeyed to ‘Meet our Power Animals’.  A great evening was had by all, and it was fantastic to welcome some new faces to our Dreaming group.  IADD is still in the planning stages, but I hope to be able to include the WA Conservation of Raptors in the event.  (https://www.facebook.com/WAConservationOfRaptors)

Another part of my role as WA Rep is to support animal conservation efforts that are close to my heart.  Scott and Trudy are very active in the Free the Bears effort to save more bears, and I encourage people to donate and educate themselves about the wonderful work the foundation does.  They not only save these beautiful bears, but also assist educate and train the families making a living from these bears, to find new ways of financially supporting their families without making any more bears suffer.

My most active role at the moment is to raise awareness (and funds) for the WA Conservation of Raptors.  Stuart and Amanda Payne do an amazing amount of work with injured birds of prey, they both work full time as well as care for these beautiful creatures, and I would like to help them in any way I can.

In addition to my role as WA Rep, I am also developing a range of Animal Dreaming essential oil blends and natural, handmade soaps that will connect with the energies of particular animals. I am a little limited in the soap range by the moulds that are available, but the essential oil blend range will be limited only by my own human-ness ?  Each oil blend is channelled and respectfully blended, to honour the Medicine connected with the energies of each animal.  Time consuming, yes, but beautifully so and I always feel so honoured when a new blend is born.  The soaps and skincare products I create are vegetarian, cruelty-free, petrochemical-free, paraben-free, SLS-free, and palm oil-free, created with love and as close to nature as possible.

Sunwalker Dreaming has a Sanctuary and Shop in Bassendean, named Silver Moon Lodge.  Here I am able to consult with clients, offering treatments in Reflexology, colour, crystal and sound healing, Trinfinity 8 and Ion-spa Foot Detox baths, all supported with Animal Dreaming practices and essences.  I have a wide variety of books, CDs, oracle cards, crystals, essential oils, aura mists and giftware products available for purchase.  I also accept the challenges of special orders, so if there is a special title or subject matter you would like to know more about, I will do my very best to source it for you.  And of course, I will endeavour to always have stocks of Animal Dreaming products ready for you to experience and purchase.
